Video: Hundreds of Libyan prisoners freed

In Libya, the National Transitional Council is releasing hundreds of prisoners, many suspected Gaddafi loyalists, ahead of a major religious festival. But the NTC says it is still holding alleged foreign mercenaries from Chad, Niger and Mali, because they have yet to be brought before the courts.

    It’s a smart move generally.
    And it’s having it both ways as we know it seems most of the real baddies didn’t make it to jail. ;)

    They know what they are doing.And I tend to think everything was decided upon and agreed upon in advance at a high level as to what would happen to Gaddafi and a “hot list” if they were caught,
    Because what happened were the smart things, not the dumb things.

    Like I say, smart moves.
